5 THEREFORE I THOUGHT IT NECESSARY TO EXHORT THE BRETHREN TO GO TO YOU AHEAD OF TIME, AND PREPARE YOUR GENEROUS GIFT BEFOREHAND, WHICH YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY PROMISED, THAT IT MAY BE READY AS A MATTER OF GENEROSITY AND NOT AS A GRUDGING OBLIGATION.
6 BUT THIS I SAY: HE WHO SOWS SPARINGLY WILL ALSO REAP SPARINGLY, AND HE WHO SOWS BOUNTIFULLY WILL ALSO REAP BOUNTIFULLY.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:5-7 (NKJV)

God's power is the only power that covers the entire spectrum of human existence.
God's power is also in direct relationship with His Word. And the power of God is released or disseminated through His Word.
When God manifested Himself to you and lived in you, you have all you may desire of.
When you let God be your source of supply, you can live independently of the world's system.

You must realize these two facts:
a. God is the only reason why you have whatever you have (John 3:27; 1 Corinthians 4:7).
b. He would not ask you to give or release what you have without giving you something better in return (Numbers 23:19).

Giving
• Give with enthusiasm (2 Corinthians 9:7).
• You also have to give with a willing heart, not as If you are being forced to do it (Romans 12:8; 1 Corinthians 9:7).
• Give by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 14:23).
• Give to worship (Proverbs 3:9).
• Your gift is acceptable before God, if your heart condition was right (Proverbs 21:27).

Why some have given but could not experienced any result:
I. Pride
There is pride element in most business and career professional people, especially those who work hard. They always want God to channel all He wanted to give to them through their businesses or careers.
They get uncomfortable and embarrassed if someone tried to give to them. They do not know how to receive, simply because of their pride.
It takes faith to give, and much more, it takes faith and humility to receive. Such people bind God and box Him into a little channel of releasing money to them.

In order to receive, after you have given, you have to humble yourself.
It takes humility and faith to receive.
Many could not receive, even after they have given, because of pride.
Know that God may not channel all He wanted to give to you through your business or whatever you are doing for a living. He may simply give you something by favour.
Believe God for whatever you need, and let God choose the channel through which to get it across to you.
It might be released or provided through your work, what you do for a living, or through someone else, as a gift or favour from the person.
Let God choose whichever way your need would be met. Do not be another Naaman who was told to wash in the river Jordan to be healed of his disease, leprosy, but got angry. He had expected the Prophet, Elisha, to pray on his leprosy, but he did not, he simply gave an instruction that he should go and wash in river Jordan and he would be healed (2 Kings 5:9-14).

II. Wrong motives
When your motives are wrong in Giving, you might not receive anything in return.
If you give to impress or show-off, you want to let people know you are in money; you may not receive any blessing from God as a result of such Giving (Matthew 6:1-4).

III. Delayed obedience
When you failed to comply with God's instruction on Giving, there might be no return or harvest on what you have given.
God might instruct you to give certain amount of money to a particular ministry, at a particular time. If you failed to do as God instructed, you may lose your reward—the lifting or blessing God intended to give to you might be short-circuited or impeded because you did not obey to the letter, or you disobeyed completely.
You could also be instructed to give to a servant of God, or give to meet a need in the life of someone. If you delayed in doing it, to meet the need of the person at the particular time that the person needs it, you may not receive any reward, if it was done afterwards.

IV. The land or soil where the seed is sown
If you give to a wrong ministry, you may not receive anything in return.
You have to know where you are planted by God and the anointing, the Prophet or Pastor, whom God wanted you to submit to.
If you sow to a hard land, unfertile or impotent land, the seed would not germinate and bear fruit—yield any return.

V. The quality of the seed
If the Seed is not a quality one, a seed that has been eaten up by insects; in such a situation the return would definitely be a mirage.
Poor seed that lacks quality would not germinate and yield fruit for harvest.

VI. Timing
You must also understand the timing in Giving. You give when you are prompted or stirred by the Holy Spirit, and the urge should not be postponed or delayed.
You give whether it is convenient or not. As long as it was commanded by God. The conveniences are not to be considered but your obedience to what God has commanded.

You will not fail in Jesus' name.
• Whatever is not of God in your system that is against your wellness and good health is cursed and rooted out totally in Jesus' name.
Peace.

STEPS TO SALVATION
Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
