GOD: A WONDERFUL TEACHER 3
23 Listen to me; listen, and pay close attention.
24 Does a farmer always plow and never sow? Is he forever cultivating the soil and never planting?
25 Does he not finally plant his seeds—black cumin, cumin, wheat, barley, and emmer wheat—each in its proper way, and each in its proper place?
26 THE FARMER KNOWS JUST WHAT TO DO, FOR GOD HAS GIVEN HIM UNDERSTANDING.
27 A heavy sledge is never used to thresh black cumin; rather, it is beaten with a light stick. A threshing wheel is never rolled on cumin; instead, it is beaten lightly with a flail.
28 Grain for bread is easily crushed,
so he doesn’t keep on pounding it. He threshes it under the wheels of a cart, but he doesn’t pulverize it.
29 THE LORD OF HEAVEN'S ARMIES IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER, AND HE GIVES THE FARMER GREAT WISDOM."
Isaiah 28:23-29 (NLT)
• It takes maturity, a spiritual growth, to be able to hear or discern God's voice whenever He speaks or commmunicates.
- Those who are sons hear God's voice. Remember, sonship symbolizes maturity, and the sons are the ones who hear from God, not babies: "FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THESE ARE SONS OF GOD" (Romans 8:14 NKJV).
- It takes maturity to understand or decipher some of the things God would be communicating to you. Thus, a disciplined and matured heart is needed: “DO NOT GIVE WHAT IS HOLY TO THE DOGS; NOR CAST YOUR PEARLS BEFORE SWINE, LEST THEY TRAMPLE THEM UNDER THEIR FEET, AND TURN AND TEAR YOU IN PIECES" (Matthew 7:6 NKJV).
READ: 1 Corinthians 2:12-14
12 “I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU, BUT YOU CANNOT BEAR THEM NOW.
13 HOWEVER, WHEN HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, HAS COME, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH; FOR HE WILL NOT SPEAK ON HIS OWN AUTHORITY, BUT WHATEVER HE HEARS HE WILL SPEAK; AND HE WILL TELL YOU THINGS TO COME.
14 HE WILL GLORIFY ME, FOR HE WILL TAKE OF WHAT IS MINE AND DECLARE IT TO YOU."
John 16:12-14 (NKJV)
7 “HE WHO CORRECTS A SCOFFER GETS SHAME FOR HIMSELF, And HE WHO REBUKES A WICKED MAN ONLY HARMS HIMSELF.
8 DO NOT CORRECT A SCOFFER, LEST HE HATE YOU; REBUKE A WISE MAN, AND HE WILL LOVE YOU.
9 GIVE INSTRUCTION TO A WISE MAN, AND HE WILL BE STILL WISER; TEACH A JUST MAN, AND HE WILL INCREASE IN LEARNING."
Proverbs 9:7-9 (NKJV)
- If you ruminate on the above Scriptures, God in the light of these passages would not tell or teach or counsel someone who is not mature enough to handle whatever is meant for a matured heart or person (1 Corinthians 3:1-3; Hebrews 5:12-14).
• The process of maturity or becoming a mature believer is through the School of the Spirit; where you would be taken through different situations, challenges and circumstances of life.
a. In such situations, you would learn how to study God's Word and put it into practice, and how to fast and pray, and how to fellowship or wait on God for directions on whatever you wanted to do.
b. You would learn how to hear from God in the midst of chaotic situations or tribulations. The ways of God would be made known to you through the challenges that are permitted to come your way.
c. You would also learn not to live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).
d. Through the trials you are taken through in the School of the Spirit, you would learn patience and endurance (James 1:2-4).
• Note:
a. God is not in a hurry when He trains in the School of the Holy Spirit.
b. Through fellowship or communion, you would learn how God deals with you or trains you as an individual believer.
• God delights in teaching His children, thus, the Helper or Comforter has been given to the believers, in order to teach them and receive help in their journey on the earth.
- They would be taught the way to go, and their eyes would be opened to see and know the plan which God has for them.
- Life is full of darkness, thus, a believer needs help through the leadings of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
- What is not planted in your body by God that is working against your wellness is rebuked and uprooted completely in Jesus' mighty name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
