TH0SE WHO KNOW GOD AND THOSE WHO KNOW ABOUT HIM 2
"THAT I MAY KNOW HIM AND THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death."
Philippians 3:10 (NKJV)
"THOSE who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; BUT THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG, AND CARRY OUT GREAT EXPLOITS."
Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)
• A Believer or a disciple who has been with God intimately, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit on the inside of him or her, would have the knowledge and understanding of God that would daze or jostle those who are having ordinary head knowledge of God.
• Every believer should strive to grow in his or her walk with God, and not only know about God, but know Him intimately and truly.
- When you grow in your communion or fellowship with God, you would know God intimately and know things concerning Him which a professor of theology would not be able to unravel.
- The knowledge of God you had when you walked with Him intimately is not learnt or taught to you through any human. Such knowledge is gotten through the revelation and the years of walking intimately and closely with God (Galatians 1:11,12).
- God has a unique way through which He relates with every child of His. He uses different methods, or ways, or patterns, to train whoever is walking intimately with Him. Although, the principles would be in line with the Bible, not something that has no basis in the Scripture.
- Some of the things learnt in the relationship and communion with God would be allowed to be taught to others, whilst some would be a unique way or pattern through which the Believer and God relate.
- This is why a Believer who has walked with God on such road or route would need not to argue with those who might want to pick offence or argue over some things they had learnt in their relationship with God.
- Every believer is expected to grow to this level. This is where Christianity is different from other religions of the world. Coming to Christ Jesus is a means of reconciling with God (2 Corinthians 5:18,19); establishing a relationship with God, and forming a bond with Him through communion or fellowship.
• If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then, what are you doing about the growth in your walking with God.
- Do you not think you have to pay attention to it?
- The core and the most important aspect of Christianity, or being a disciple of Christ Jesus, is what we have shared here.
- The level which every Believer is expected to reach or attain is what has been shared here.
- Take a step now, and be serious with your Christian life, your walk with God.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Whatever ailment in your body is rebuked and completely uprooted in Jesus' mighty name.
- I speak peace to your life in Jesus' mighty name. Every turmoil and turbulence is stopped in Jesus' name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
