“COMMIT YOUR WAY TO THE LORD, trust also in Him, AND HE SHALL BRING IT TO PASS.”
Psalm 37:5 (NKJV)

If you want to walk with God, you do it by faith (Hebrews 11:6). You commit everything to His hand and allow Him to have his way (Proverbs 16:3; 1 Peter 5:7).
Your planning and scheming of things would not work without God (Proverbs 19:21).
What God has not instructed you to do that you embarked upon will not work, nor succeed. Now, for the thoughts of your heart to work and be established, you commit them, and all you do to God:
"COMMIT YOUR WORKS TO THE LORD [submit and trust them to Him], AND YOUR PLANS WILL SUCCEED [if you respond to His will and guidance]" (Proverbs 16:3 Amp).

"IF YOU ENTRUST ALL YOU DO TO ADONAI, YOUR PLANS WILL ACHIEVE SUCCESS."
Proverbs 16:3 (Complete Jewish Bible)

Not only that you commit things to God's hand, you must be patient enough to wait on Him and allow Him to do what you have committed to His hands in His own way, and do it at His own time (Isaiah 55:8,9). READ: 1 Peter 4:19

Note:
• The beauty and wisdom of walking with God is submission, your obedience to what He says and what He wants (Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 11:8).
• God does not want you to do anything outside of His plan and will. In other words, He does not want to be sidelined (John 15:4-7).
• Jesus' secret is His tie with God the Father: "THEN JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID TO THEM, “MOST ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, THE SON CAN DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, BUT WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DO; FOR WHATEVER HE DOES, THE SON ALSO DOES IN LIKE MANNER" (John 5:19 NKJV)
READ: John 10:30
• Your walk with God, your relationship with Him, cannot be cordial until you are mature and get to the point of waiting on Him for everything you want to do: “SO HE HUMBLED YOU, ALLOWED YOU TO HUNGER, AND FED YOU WITH MANNA WHICH YOU DID NOT KNOW NOR DID YOUR FATHERS KNOW, THAT HE MIGHT MAKE YOU KNOW, THAT MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE; BUT MAN LIVES ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD" (Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV).

God needs your attention:
• Whatever escapes your mind to bring to God's notices will suffer setback and it may not succeed.
• God's goal in you, in your relationship with Him, is to take you to the point that you cannot do anything without informing Him:
4 " ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. AS THE BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT OF ITSELF, UNLESS IT ABIDES IN THE VINE, NEITHER CAN YOU, UNLESS YOU ABIDE IN ME. 5 “I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. HE WHO ABIDES IN ME, AND I IN HIM, BEARS MUCH FRUIT; FOR WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING" (John 15:4,5 NKJV).

God wants to be all in all in your life and He does not want you to do anything without Him: “NOW WHEN ALL THINGS ARE MADE SUBJECT TO HIM [the Son, that is, Jesus], THEN THE SON HIMSELF WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT, TO HIM WHO PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL" (1 Corinthians 15:28 NKJV).

You will not fail in Jesus’ name. Peace!
