Total BLURT market collapse on Hive-Engine

in #blurt2 months ago

Hive user @bamende is Blurt's newest whale, picking up a massive position of BLURT today for just a few cents! Thanks to an ongoing price crash triggered by the Probit delisting announced 7 days ago, powered-down BLURT is hitting the exchange en masse, and a transfer of wealth is underway.

An even worse situation, just 6 hours after my previous post warning of a pending price collapse. This is how it looked then:

Sadly, almost no buyers showed up to defend our token, and @sagarkothari88 just dumped 100k+ BLURT into the exchange, wiping out the meager buy orders. @bamende's ridiculous standing offer was filled, and since then, no buyers have offered to purchase at the old (much higher) price. It looks like this dismal pit of shame is our new normal.

Panic won't set in yet for many endpoint users of the Blurt blogging platform, as wallets still show the old price (and "estimated account value") from the frozen Probit data. If they knew they had lost 2/3 of their investment, today alone, they might join the powerdown tsunami and add fuel to the fire (starting in 7 days).

I heard a rumour today that something good is about to happen. So let's keep our fingers crossed for that, whatever it is.

More good news: If you're looking to buy BLURT, you can pretty much name your price right now, and get all you want. Great time for anyone looking to load the boat!
