미국 영어 안에 숨어 있는 뉘앙스를 설명하는 책 중에서 유튜버 올리버쌤 만큼 시원한 설명은 만나기 힘듭니다. 한국에 대한 이해도 높아 한국 사람이 흔히 하는 실수도 정확하게 집어주지요.
다만 올리버쌤의 유튜브 채널이나 책을 보면 이렇게까지 유창한 표현을 알아야 하나 싶을 때가 있습니다. 완전 미국인처럼 보이는 사람의 한국어가 나보다 유창하면 이상하잖아요. 미국에서 영어를 사용해야 하는 경우라면 모를까 한국에서 만나는 미국인을 상대로 한 영어라면 조금 어색하거나 틀려도 되지 않을까요?
