Book Cover Project
Here it is,
After editing it a few times, changing the concept, the style...
Finally I can share with you the book cover I made for @tajalexandher. We started working on it in the summer when he just told me what title he was thinking about, wondering if its not too controversial, or if it won't draw people away. I told him it's great, he definitely shouldn't change it, and I just knew and hoped that he'll ask me to do this cover!
He told me the general idea of how he wanted it to be like and I was very excited, but I got worried because drawing people was always very challenging for me. It's funny, now I do this all the time, and I love it, especially for the great contest of @apolymask <3!
I was working for a very long time with this cover, because I really wanted it to be perfect. I can't express strong enough how amazing I think this book is and I wanted so badly for the cover to show it, emphasize it and attract more people to like it! The book is about a journey through life, through tough times, of a boy with low self-esteem and lack of confidence. I think that the most important thing about it is that it shows how the role of the father is significant in a family, especially nowadays, when there's a big problem of how dads are absent in their children's lives.
For me it's also a very important book, because it helped me understand how lack of confidence can lead you to be in a very bad place in your life and waste many opportunities we're given to be happy. All we should always remember, and what is also this book teaching us about, is to always love yourself!

The book seems interesting. I've never grown up in that but I'm sure many have and can relate...none the less would be an interesting read! The cover is awesome..and in regards to what the book is about seems like you made the characters spot on!
Thank you! I’ve never grown up in that too, but I can relate to a lot of situations, and feelings described in the book ☺️ Following your friend she instead of thinking for yourself sometimes, feeling like a black sheep... it’s very interesting:)

You have a very nice range with your artwork, all with a distinct @yeszuzia style :)
The facial expressions were a key feature in many of the artwork that you have done for the Information Finding Championship and here it gives some indication of the rebellious but still obedient son, and the mother who has seen too much of it to be bothered by her son's behaviour (I think).
I don't know @tajalexandher but his mom is very strong :D
Thank you! I love hearing other songs people point of view about my work :D his mom actually said when she saw previous versions, that she looked like she was beatened. But that was not the point at all, they were just both supposed to look angrily at each other, but their relationship isn’t still close and important:)
I think the difference in expression for the same emotion is very realistic and true to what happens in reality :)
