RE: Booster Post Upvote Value Check #3 - Bad value !

in #booster9 years ago (edited)

Hey! Thank you for compiling this information! I sent sbd to @booster and I must say, I feel a bit special that you included me in your study haha

"At the time we added this data, the SBD Exchange rate at blocktrades was $0.95 for 1 SBD, so @shawnfishbit invested a total of $14.25 for his upvote boost and got out $1.61 !!"

It looks like the price of SBD is having a huge effect on the payout of our posts. But if the price goes up, will the new value be effected in a positve way? Meaning, if the price of SBD goes back up, will we be getting paid more for our posts?

Thanks again for this valuable information to give to the community. As someone who is trying to get his account to grow, and curate, comment, blog, and everything else effectively, these bots are great at getting more exposure.

I mainly do it on new posts to hopefully get more people to look at it. But it appears that the incentive, as far as receiving a high payout, isn't there at this time.

Are you guys that were mentioned in the post going to continue to use the bots? Why or why not?

Sort:

Yes the price of the SBD, the falling post values ( I will go into that later one..) and the amount sent to booster per run defines the value. The decrease of the post value have even more to do with the vests which are in the market, so in times like now you could even see the post value goes down while SBD and Steem Price going up. Its complex :) If you are interested i can search for an article about, explaining it well..
