Thrilla in Manila

The Thrilla in Manila was the third & final boxing match between legendary boxer Muhammad Ali & contender Joe Frazier In 1975 for the 'WHWC' (World Heavyweight Championship) at the Philippine Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines it went down on the first of October.

The venue was renamed from 'Araneta Coliseum' because of the match due to the global publicity it had amassed. Ali won by T.K.O (Technical knockout).

Most people still wonder why it was named 'Trilla in Manila' well the infamous name was derived from Ali's line & chant "killa and a thrilla and a chilla, when I get that gorilla in Manila."

Ali won for the second time making it a 2–1 victory. R.I.P & Cheers to a Legend 1942-2016
