Amazon Delivered A New Kitty Toy! 😻……..Cascade Wanderings

Happy Monday everyone!

Amazon delivered a new kitty toy today just for Cot! It’s funny how kitties prefer cardboard boxes and paper bags to most kitty toys. As you can see, Cot was enthralled with his box. Cyle was observing from nearby.

My day has been spent roasting a new coffee I bought and I must say, it’s quite good. I went outside to smell the smoke coming from the roasters. It smelled earthy and chocolaty and lovely indeed! That’s what I look for in the cupping notes is earthy and chocolaty. It has not failed me yet in my assessment of potentially good green coffee beans to purchase! Yum! 😋 ☕️

I also spent time doing housework and hemming a pair of pants I literally had been putting off for almost a year! A year-you ask? Well, in the past, I would experience somewhat excruciating hand pain when doing any hand sewing. It was numbing and would travel into my wrist. So much so, I avoided hand sewing like the plague! Today, I decided I really needed the pants done and just figured I’d bear my way through it. Imagine my surprise when there was zero pain! I’m not sure why, but I’ll take it! Now, maybe I can give some embroidery projects a try. I’ve ordered an inexpensive kit to try my hand at it. If I can do it successfully, I believe I might have found a good stress reliever. 😎

My steps for today:

Tomorrow sees me starting my workweek a day early due to 67% of the staff on vacation. Someday, maybe I’ll get one too. I would actually take one-well maybe, if it were a paid vacation. 😏
