Feed The Birds…..…… Cascade Wanderings

Name that movie! For those who don’t know, it was the 1964 classic, Mary Poppins. If you’ve never seen it, you should! It starred Julie Andrews and Dick VanDyke who by the way, just turned 100 years old last month! He’s still dancing and singing!

Today found us headed to Boulevard Park as we’d not been since before fall last year. It was a beautiful and sunny 🌞 day!

There were a lot of folks out with the same idea we had. The gentleman in the first picture had apparently brought a snack for the birds as they didn’t stray too far away from him.

There was even a crow trying to get a snack.

It was a lovely day with just enough breeze to let you know it’s not quite as warm as you might think. However at the same time, you could feel a hint of spring in the air!

We meandered up and down the trail for quite a bit just soaking up some vitamin D.

It was high tide as you can see which cut off access to the areas we normally go to investigate when there. Hopefully, the next time we go, we’ll hit low tide.

I took a lot of photos and a video as well which I’ll share here on the next two posts.

When we left, it was off to Walmart for some things and then a stop at Starbucks for some much needed refreshment.
