Happy Monday!………....North Cascade Wanderings

‘Tis Monday and whereas some folks dread it because of work, I tend to enjoy it for it offers opportunities to run errands that can’t be done on the weekends or offers opportunities to go nowhere and spend the day relaxing. 😎

Today offered both for me. I got to spend two sessions in my garden swing and enjoy the early summer ambiance. It was cool in the morning and there was lots of birdsong to listen to as well.

I also got to enjoy a conversation with our son Bill (Olivia’s daddy) although he’s dealing with some engine issues with his car. It lost compression and power on the expressway Sunday afternoon as they were headed to the zoo. 😟 Hopefully the dealership will honor the extended warranty it has and either fix what could be a blown ring (s) or a blown head gasket. The head gasket would be the easier of the two. 😏

Some late blooming magnolia tree growths from yesterday’s hike. All pics with two exceptions are from yesterday.

We did go to town and enjoyed some refreshments while there! 😎

Earlier today while on the phone, I heard this buzzing sound…….I looked over at the table I have by my garden swing and found this:

He sat there as if posing before buzzing off! 🐝
