Name that show! If you guessed Gilligan’s Island-you’d be correct! That first picture brought that show to mind when I spied the boat yesterday as we were hiking Boulevard Park.

I have to say that it looked like a pretty nice boat-or it was. I almost don’t think it was abandoned as it was tied up, but I suppose someone could have stolen it and ditched it there. I am thinking it was an ‘active’ sailing vessel simply because the name and registration numbers were still visible. Usually, if someone abandons a boat like this, they will remove all of the names/numbers on it so there’s no tie to anyone in particular. I don’t know if that works but it makes sense why someone might obliterate them.

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday (and today for that matter) and the boats were out and about. However getting wet by spray or heaven forbid, you go overboard, would probably prove to be somewhat fatal. 😳 Hypothermia is a real thing in these waters!

The water had some beautiful colors in it. The brown in this picture was actually some vertical pier supports without a deck. It gave it an interesting look.
