When I Got To Work……..…..Cascade Wanderings

IMG_6102.jpg

When I got to work, one of the first things I noticed was that my orchid was close to opening one of its flowers. I didn’t take a picture of that. Within 2 hours, it had opened to the state you see in the first photo. By closing, it had morphed to this…..

The first picture reminds me of a monster with jaws and two specific bottom fangs. The second one, well if you look closely, I see a little kitty back in there. 😽 By tomorrow, it will be fully opened and the next bloom will have begun opening.

Work was super busy for me today especially after a family of 4 got done with the doc! It was crazy trying to keep them all straight as they all crowded around. 🤪 After they finally left, I told Lisa my coworker, that I wasn’t sure who I was, where we were at, let alone which family member was which, lol! I meticulously separated the paperwork into 4 piles, paper clipped it together and took it all back to my desk to process! Meanwhile, the patients just kept on ‘a-comin’! 😅

I got all but the last 2 patients for the day done, as the doc was keeping his own schedule except the one on the books! 🙄

The duck picture and these following are from the hike at Lynden City Park.

A deer must have trekked across the concrete before it was cured!

This hawk was enjoying his high and lofty perch!

My steps for today:

That’s gonna be it for me. Tomorrow is a me, myself and I day. I’m hoping to get some things done!

Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

BSB Matthew 26:14-25

Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver. So from then on Judas looked for an opportunity to betray Jesus.
Preparing the Passover
(Mark 14:12–16; Luke 22:7–13)
On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
He answered, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the Teacher says, ‘My time is near. I will keep the Passover with My disciples at your house.’” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
The Last Supper
(Mark 14:17–26; Luke 22:14–23; 1 Corinthians 11:17–34)
When evening came, Jesus was reclining with the twelve disciples. And while they were eating, He said to them, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”
They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”
Jesus answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with Me will betray Me. The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed. It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
Then Judas, who would betray Him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?”
Jesus answered, “You have said it yourself.”
