“Is It Time For A Hike?”☺️
“Absolutely my furry friend!”👍☺️
Silvertop spent the morning hand splitting firewood………….😅
Then………….I pulled out my very large, 20 inch long, gasoline chain saw! 💪☺️
I proceeded to begin cutting up two very large Big Leaf Maple trees, that had fallen in the backyard several weeks ago!
One tank of gas, produced three heaping wheelbarrow loads of firewood logs!
Then each wheelbarrow load, needed to be PUSHED UPHILL, to where Silvertop is “Hoarding” all of his firewood Lol!😇
By 1 o’clock, I was tired, and done for the day………
“Cot, come with Dad for a hike to the Gold Mine Trail?”😻
My boy was out like a light…… he wasn’t going anywhere!😺
Well I guess Dad is on his own today!😊
Ohhh………….Where do I park my truck?🙄
“Springtime” in the Pacific Northwest, brings out the hikers….. in droves Lol!😇
Let’s see how far I can get, with Sunset today at 4:42 PM!☺️
Hiker, after hiker, I passed….. then they passed Silvertop Lol!
If you remember my last trip to the gold, mine trail, I made it to Hayden Creek………
Today was a repeat, up to Hayden Creek and then head back down hill………..
The water was running fast, so I squatted down to get a nice photo of the creek…….
SUDDENLY a girl jogging fast up the trail, tried to leap frog across the fast moving water!
That’s when Silvertop snapped that photo and stood up!
I scared her, and she scared me!😳
“Sorry………..I’m just snapping photos!”😇
Well………That was more of an adrenaline rush, than running into a mountain lion on the trail!😅🤣
Maybe Silvertop needs to cut back on the caffeinated lattes a little Lol!🤣
