Well this is a pleasant surprise, the weather forecast was calling for 100 percent chance of rain today!😊
Silvertop knows how this is going to eventually play out Lol!😇
You wake up to just a little bit of Sun, and by Noon it’s raining!🙄……………
I really don’t like rushing, especially when I’m working with a chainsaw!😮
“Cot, you watch the house, Dads got to hurry, if I want to finish chainsawing the wood up at Will’s house!”😻
By the time I parked my truck in front of Will’s it was misting rain!🤨
So light, that you could barely feel the mist!😅
“This isn’t so bad…. maybe I can get the balance of the logs cut and loaded in my truck, before the rain really starts!😇
See that wood handled tool in the second and third photo, that’s called a “Peavey”!😊
This tool is used by loggers, to help roll extremely heavy logs…………..
Silvertop was down to cutting the main tree trunk, and it was too heavy to roll manually!😳
This tool has two hooks that dig into the log, and the long wooden handle acts like a fulcrum, giving you leverage to roll stubborn logs!😇
The race began…………………
Silvertop was also down to two full tanks of gas, and my chainsaw chain was quickly in need of re-sharpening!
About the time I finished cutting the first large round, the misting rain turned into a drizzle!😮
I was slopping through wet blackberries, and mud, with a running chainsaw! 🙄
Seven rounds cut and loaded, and my chainsaw was close to being out of gas!😬

Only a small section of the main tree trunk remained uncut…………….
Another day……. after the storm passes….. soon enough the sun will be back!😎
