"MERRY AND BRIGHT!"😎.................................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

“Merry And Bright!”😎
Well……. At least everyone is Merry Lol!😇🤣
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since Silvertop and Liz opened up the Christmas present that you can see in the third photo…….We were speechless!😇
The words “Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa, See you in 2025” were engraved on the crystal ornament!❤️
Earlier that day, Silvertop snapped the “second” photo of “FOUR” members of the Silvertop family, while we were visiting!
Yep…………you read that correctly, baby Olivia, was on her very first hike with Grandpa and Grandma Silvertop!😍
It’s equally hard to believe that the “snowy” photos you see in today’s post were taken on December Fifth of last year, only six days from today!
“Where’s the snow Silvertop?”🙄
No snow……..
No freezing weather…….No frost!
I know Winter is coming, but up to now, the lowest we have seen on the outdoor thermometer at night was 37°F!😎
We are currently sitting at a balmy 45°F!😊
My friend from California @thebighigg said “The skies sure look gray, are you expecting rain?”
With Sunset at 4:16 PM today, Sunshine is fleeting…………
I can wake up to beautiful blue skies, like the photo of the Mountain hillside, only to have gray skies less than an hour later!🤔
Twenty two more days my friends, and the days start getting longer…. The winter solstice!🤗
“Liz I can’t wait, by the time Summer is here, Olivia will be hiking the “High Trail” with us Lol! I can see it now honey!”……….
“Olivia….. you better slow down, your Mom and Dad can’t keep up with the three of us!”😅
“Liz…. Olivia’s Mom and Dad are…………
“Older than Dirt Lol!”🤣😇🥰
Till tomorrow, keep hiking everyone……Silvertop Mike😊

@silvertop, this post is absolutely heartwarming! Seeing baby Olivia on her first hike is such a beautiful moment, and that crystal ornament is an incredibly thoughtful gift. The photos capture the joy and love within your family so well.

It's fascinating to see the contrast between last year's snowy scenes and the current mild weather. Your humorous take on the situation and anticipation for summer hikes with Olivia is infectious. Twenty-two days until the winter solstice – that's something to look forward to!

Thanks for sharing these snippets of your life, Mike! They are a joy to read.
