Seems like the first thing anyone talks about recently is the lack of Winter this year!🙄
As I type this post it’s in the 50’s….. in the middle of January!😎
This time last year, our neighbors Keith and Lynne were putting out “Game cameras” after I showed both of them the second and third photo!😺
“Yep….. that’s a BIG Cat Silvertop!”😳
It’s much safer hiking in the Mountains when you have snow, you instantly know when you have “Company”!😻😬
“Silbertop, I not see ANY tracks, we hike dis way!”🐸
“Hmmm….. if you say so PEPE!”🤔😇
My friend @thebighigg, the other day was commenting that the Bears might be coming out of hibernation as well, thinking it’s springtime!🐻
Liz has already started snapping photos of “Skunk weed” one of the first plants to emerge, marking the end of Winter!🤗
Could it really be the end of Winter Lol!😇
My friend @silversaver888 was wondering if I “Carry” when I am alone deep in the Mountains……
Most days I do….. but I really don’t want to be “THAT” close to a hungry cougar or bear!🐻
Bears have such thick skin, any form of aggression isn’t going to end well!😬😳
The Deer population has dwindled down to only an occasional sighting………..
This usually is a sign of Cougar activity……….😺
“So PEPE, are you sure we won’t run into a Cougar, or a Bear on today’s hike?”😇
“Silbertop you scout up ahead on trail, den come back fer PEPE after trail safe!”🐸
So much for our brave PEPE leading the hike today Lol!😇🤣
