Brainstorming for Steemit?

I am relatively new here -- a few days old--- but the first thing that i had a problem with as simple
as it is was to insert pictures! I reached out to steemians and the question was answered within
an hour or less, you see i was expecting to be able to insert a pic chosen from my laptop but there
was no insert button

So i thought perhaps there should be a new brainstorm category where we each put forward ideas
for either making the platform user friendly OR growing steemit in general

perhaps the best ideas --especially the ones that are implemented can be rewarded??? We use to have
this system in the civil service -except ideas put forward were secret
