Assalam o alikum friends welcome to my blog I am @sualeha from Pakistan it's pleasure for me to share my childhood favourite food recipe with your it's Khichri ,it's simple and easy to cook and digest.The most popular food in Pakistan and India specially we are 6 siblings and in our childhood I ever remembered myon daily cooked khichri for us before we back to school because she knew very well thf kids are happily eaten them all.Its not only healthy meal also tempting in taste So guys without ado let's move on the recipe......

Ingredients list

| cooking oil | 1/2 cup | ![]() |
| salt | 1 tbs or as per taste | ![]() |
| Whole gram masala | 1 tbs | ![]() |
| chopped onions | 1 medium | ![]() |
| Ginger garlic paste | 1 tbs | ![]() |
Making/step by step procedure
- Take a pan poured cooking oil and let it hot ,then add cumin seeds ,cinimon stick,clove in it .

- When it's fried add sliced onions in it and leave it till saute well.

- When onion turned golden brown add ginger garlic paste in it and fried for 2 minutes.

- Now I am going to add soaked khichri mixture means red lentils and rice in it .
- Add 1 and 1/2 cup of water in it then add 1 tbs of salt or as per taste

- Covered the lid for 20 minutes on medium flame for complete cook .
Final presentation
- When steam comes out it's indicated your khichri is done so off the flame for doge and tampting rice oil or ghee must be in balance according to the amount of rice .
