Entrepreneurship is more than about making money or making a name for yourself in your community. Those things are great, but there is more to this journey. Entrepreneurship is all about seeing the dream you have formulated in your mind, and planned extensively, finally come to life. One cannot fully explain the joy an entrepreneur feels as he or she sees the vision manifest, in reality, day in and day out. It will take a lot of work, of course, for the dream to become successful, but the process is always worthwhile for the one leading it.
The stakes are very high, as you work day in and day out to see the plan come to fruition, but the reward is always worthwhile. The reward isn’t just material or monetary success. As great as it may be to amass a great amount of wealth and to have the opportunity to buy almost anything you desire, the greatest reward entrepreneurship presents is seeing something you have spoken about, dreamt of, and wished to see come to life, actually come to life. The realization that your dreams have actually come true brings about a sense of accomplishment that can’t be found anywhere else. The sense of accomplishment is experienced over and over again as goals are met and progress increases. When you are finally able to show the world, what has been building in your mind, and they are able to appreciate its greatness, you realize that all the hard work and sleepless nights are worth it. That is what Entrepreneurship is really about – appreciating the progress that comes with each day that passes.
