Great post. I left my job because it was not adding any value. Economic analysis can be a great tool if it is used to influence decision-making. In my case, my analysis was merely addressing a tick box and made no impact on decisions.

Thanks, been on my mind for some time now, eventually managed to put it into something coherant.
A brave move for sure, not many are willing to earn their own keep based on the sweat of their own brow and their value to the market. The propaganda machine is so strong that even this non-sensible market remains open because theres enough customers/demand for a stable income.
I know this because when I bring up these topics I am dismissed and seen as a conspiracy theorist. It's as if people have this unwavering idea that the people at the top of corporate and government have it all figured out. This isn't a dynamic system it is systematic wealth extraction with zero altruism.
