How do you explain anything to someone who may not have the context to understand you? I've personally found that the most effective answer is to find an analogy that fits the context that they live in.

For generations some families have dedicated themselves entirely to the land, a lot of them didn't really have the time to become familiar with technology that doesn't deal with their work because they were too busy producing food for us to eat. While on the subject on farmers I want to take a moment to thank those who understand the importance of not forgetting our agricultural practices.

Now let's talk about what we are here for, how can you explain blockchains to people who work the land? The answer, which is to speak to them about land, may blow you away in its simplicity but please don't disregard it as too good to be true before reading the next paragraph.

If you have a piece of land you can sell it, along with what the land producess and your contributions to production, by using a blockchain. The only thing you need to do is show that the land is yours, present proof of what you are growing on the land, the quality, and how much you are selling it for. The farmer would also need to provide some sort of evidence about the expenses that can be expected to give maintenance to the farm and keep it optimal. Once you've calculated how big of a space your are putting forward, it can easily be split based on its value in however many pieces you wish to sell the production for.

๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ

If the land was priced at $10 each square meter when you bought it and you are growing apples already, you could price the square meter at $14 and the difference would be in profit for selling the land. While investors are buying a small piece of land what they are really investing in is the apples produced on the land. The price of apples in other places, the capacity to produce from the land, the number of investors and the cost of taking care of it would be the main factors in determining how much these apple stocks would run for in the exchanges.

A rough calculation based on the farmer's previous profit reports could easily let investors speculate.

Recently I've taken notice of Dash - Digital Cash's distribution model and the only reason I bring it up is to illustrate how an operation like the one I am describing for farmers could go about budgets and allowances. What makes Dash different than many other cryptocurrencies is that they split the block reward, aka the profit from selling apples, into 3 parts and one of those parts goes to whatever investors believe necessary for the operation to grow bigger.

๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ

In the case of farmers their maintenance work is the main thing needed to ensure things go smoothly, making sure that whoever is taking care of the land is also taken care of. But there may be things that can't be predicted accurately like a virus, aka plagues, and a funding mechanism that dedicates a budget to not only recurring expenses but unforseen events sounds a lot like an insurance policy.

Land can also be leveraged in other ways, it would be very difficult not to make profit from land because even if your operation was attacked, a bomb was set off to sabotage your business and now you don't have positive but negative land, meaning a hole in the ground, you can still turn it into a pool and charge for entry. If you have a piece of land and want to turn it into a stadium or a trailer park it can be done with minimum effort, by letting others help you.

But what if we don't have land? You can sell the idea of land on the blockchain, with blockchains you can even profit from your words, like I am trying to do now.

Seriously though, if you don't have land and want it you can buy it and maintain it collectively by using similar technology to what Steemit uses. If you have land and don't want it pitching its sale to blockchain investors would be easy.
