CURRENT REALITY IN VENEZUELA
But Chávez died.
There was a vacuum.
Maduro came to promote prosperity.
All right.
But Dollar Today was unleashed.
The price of oil fell.
The internal sabotage of the economy began.
The international embargoes were activated.
The devaluation began.
Inflation skyrocketed.
The production stagnated.
You could not prosper anymore ...
Unless …
Now…
The official will be devoted to corruption.
The executive (etc.) to negotiate three or four or more assignments.
The politician to blackmail.
The baker to grab the flour.
The merchant to sell at a premium.
The banker to resell cash.
The border to be smuggled.
The peddler to bachaquear.
The thief to dock busetas.
The poor man to cut wires.
The poorest to sell his body.
The most desperate to leave the country.
But good
This is how it thrives today in Venezuela.
Maduro promoted this prosperity.
[All] want to be prosperous, to fill that void.
But not all have been able.
And that's why there are so many more innocent and honest people today who remain poor, and poorer, even when others prosper, and prosper more.
That is the prosperity of Maduro.
Prosperity at whatever cost.
This is the current reality of Venezuela in a few words.
In my estimation.
