KEEP CALM

“And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains...” (Acts 12: 6)

In our Focal Scripture, Peter was asleep between two soldiers. He was in custody, with the possibility of being killed by Herod, but he was asleep. Peter was in danger, negativity was lurking around the corner, but he remained in a relaxed mode. Peter was relaxed. The first miracle God gave Peter was to keep him calm despite the danger.

Friend, there may be dangers all around, there may be opposition lurking around to see how they may reduce your destiny, there may be protocols that are poised to halt your rising, some people may be threatening that you will never make progress while they live, the Herods of this world may have given their final word against you, but God says, keep calm, relax, don’t lose your mind, and don’t let the enemy make you panic.

The church already raised Peter's matter to God in prayers, and there was no need for Peter to be agitated. When Jehovah is involved, you have no need to be agitated. When God is on your side, you have nothing to fear. When you hand the matter of your life over to God, you have no more need to be scared. You may not know how to deal with issues, but Jesus knows.

Peter relaxed, and an angel showed up and got him out of prison. He relaxed and divine visitation became his reality. If you dare to relax and put your faith and confidence in God, He will show up and on time too. If you dare to relax and cast all your cares on Jesus, He will make all things work out perfectly at His own time. If you relax, divine help will locate you.

Just relax; soon, everything will work out for your good; soon, the tables will turn in your favour; soon, you will smile, laugh and dance.
