Humba Bisaya for you and me. The sweetness from sugar and the sourness from vinegar make for an interesting contrast in taste. This is a common dish found in the table s during special occasions in a Bisayan household and especially during town fiestas. Since I am a Visayan girl, i will recommend this dish to anyone who wishes to have a taste of authentic Bisaya comfort food. Just like adobo, humba was made due to the need of the meat to last longer. If you want to try some humba eat it with some hard- boiled egg. I assure youmthat it is very tasty combination; the richness, luxurious flavors of the humba mixes very well with the mellow yumminess of the egg.
Would love to taste this.
