Seasoned with Salt

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

The nature of a born again child of God is love, full of grace and seasoned with sweetness of attitude and speech. The grace of God empowers us to be effective in living the life of Christ on earth. It's amazing how a one time criminal becomes the apple of God's eyes. The once rejected is made the beloved, all by grace.

Today, we must be careful to avoid taking the grace of God for granted in our daily conversations. The grace of God must reflect in the way we speak or treat people around us. It's important that we remember where Christ brought us from and exercise same love towards others.
Brethren, we have been made the salt of this world through the grace and love of God invested in us at the new birth. It's a significant and critical realization because salt gives meaning to every eatable meal. We are to be the reason someone continue in the Christian race. We should be the savour in people's lives by living like Christ with them.
This is the will of God, that we become too relevant to be ignored.
