Hi Steem world 🌎

I want to share with you in this article my joy to have reached 50 of reputation score and come back on my journey, my experience and my goals in the world of steem.

My beginnings

Almost a year ago, my friend @fabien, let me discover the cryptocurrency universe, and more precisely the steem universe. I am a UX designer and developer, but really not good enough in finance and especially with 2 children and an expatriate life, I do not have the resources to fully invest in crypto as of now. Fabien let me understand the steem concept and I found it awesome because it is the best way to start saving crypto by starting from nothing and this concept of social network around a crypto currency is just amazing.

So in January 2017, I opened a steem account to see what Steemit looked like and tested to post an article I had written earlier and never posted anywhere. Well, I did not insert pictures because I thought the article would be easily and eternally editable and this is one of the many little tricks I learned as my numerous errors on steemit, such as follow bots, upvote anything that happens, underestimate the frequency and consistency of my posts, etc!

My discoveries

So here is 3 months that I use full-time the Steemit application and it cannot be said currently that I found myself a blogger soul, a gift for photography or talent as a writer, but ...

I discovered an incredible community, mainly composed of cryptocurrency enthusiast, but also travel, photography and humor. Moreover, I discovered and almost watched hatching francophone community with members one better than another, with projects, groups that are formed and organized and articles worthy of the name.

So I think Steemit is not totally made for me, does not represent me and that it does not potentially interest people around me, because it is too technical, it is for experts and professionals, whether in crypto or in blogging.

My review

I observe that there are potentially 2, or more, types of steem network users. For my part I had left Facebook long ago already, but my posting reflexes on social network are in a manner similar I use to do on Facebook. That means giving news to my loved ones and that's the only thing I miss about Facebook.

I think that the type of article that I post is addressed at people around me, and it is also true to the friends I’m making in the community, because for them, the photos of what I do to the overseas, even if they are fuzzy and pointing in the wrong direction lol, it is quality content, so much asked in Steemit.

The advantage is that this search for quality forces me still to improve my posts to do more kinds of blog articles. To want to improve myself in photo because I travel and I often have the opportunity to see things that I would like to share. I'm even starting to think that I would have to make videos. The network being international, it is also an opportunity for me to improve my English. Steemit is a aid in progress.

My involvement

Beyond that I have the chance to be close to the @busy.org team thanks to Fabien who integrated me, it is a team of enthusiast, perfectionist who produce impressive quality work. Well, I have for the moment not the skills required that they are looking for that would allow me to be able to help them fully, for connoisseurs, I am a frontend developer php js html css, while Busy is more oriented towards node.js and react developing. So to work with them as a developer I would come back later but it allows me to learn enormously and also to give me new techniques to study in my professional field.

Busy, for me, represents THE social network of Steem blockchain. And knowing that the busy team is working on an important upgrade, I will be able to carry out a mass "recruitment" of my loved ones, just interested in my news and uninitiated to the crypto and doing a transition from Facebook to Busy . This will also allow me to expand my steem community. :)

My goals

Thanks to this closeness to Busy, my growing passion for cryptos, and my everlasting respect for the steem community, I am training myself in this exciting new technology for frontend development to know the great foundation.

My domain of excellence, my great passion in my professional field being UX design rather than development I embarked on steem designing applications. I have a lot of ideas, I already started to work on it and I would share prototypes that everyone will be able to test and according to your feedback the development will then be envisageable.

Conclusion

I have not yet reached the “reputation of wisdom” for my fiftieth anniversary, but I am progressing as always in everything I do, one of the quality I try to apply in everything I do, it is perseverance. An action, a project, an idea must never stop, and even if it takes a lifetime, if we continue what we have done, it will always end up having a positive result.
