For nervous drivers (and passers who are equally nervous of them) be careful! You really have to prepare to see the Storseisundet bridge in Norway. The bridge connecting the road from the peninsula's Romsdal plains to the Averøya island of Møre og Romsdal county looks as though the bridge really does not connect a dead-end alley as you drive in that direction. However, you will be relieved to hear that this is just an optical illusion. The bridge is built in such a way that from a certain angle, it looks somewhat 'disconnected'. The local people call it 'Drunk Bridge' or a drunken bridge that is part of the Atlanterhavsveien or Atlantic Ocean Road in English and intrigues many visitors.
