Knowing the child's talent is an important agenda that must be done by parents. By knowing the talents of children, parents can help children develop a career in the future. How can parents know the talents of children?

A. Stimulation of children to explore

Pull interest in children to perform an activity, and do not immediately give orders. When the child asks, explain as necessary. As with the first talent development task, children need to try different activities from the whole range of multiple intelligences.

B. Give children a chance to move

If the child is interested, give the child a chance to do the activity. Initially, parents can accompany children, but try to keep children feel independent in doing its activities. When parents feel dictated, the child's behavior does not refer to his multiple intelligences, but rather by following the parent's instructions.

C. Recognize the child's exciting behavior

Observe child behavior: before, during, and after activity. What is the child's attitude before doing the activity? What are the attitudes and behaviors shown by the child during the activity? What about the child's attitude after doing the activity? Behavior is more easily observed because it is obvious. Parents also need to be more observant in observing the attitude of subtle children, such as forehead that frowns or changes in facial expression. After doing the activity, ask questions to tell the child about his experience doing the activity.

Exciting behavior has 4 characteristics:

1. Quick learn
Children relatively quickly learn how to perform an activity. Fast learning is not limited to mastering fast, but can also quickly find out and try to do it. If not directly do, children tend to ask a lot to satisfy his curiosity. After several tries, the child is relatively self-taught to be more adept at doing the activity.

2. Fun
Children engrossed in activities; all his attention is focused on the activity, so often ignore the other things. Fun not only limited to feel the pleasure. Preoccupation also talks about feeling the exciting experience, namely the suitability of the ability with the challenges faced by the child.

3. Satisfied
Children feel satisfied with the activity. The child shows a positive response that is visible from the expression on his face. In fact, some children are telling passionately about their experience in doing the activity.

4. Want to repeat
The child wants to repeat the activity. Some children want to repeat because they are challenged to try activities with more difficulty. Another child is challenged to want to try again, maybe before he felt not mastered well.

When children do not show exciting behavior then you have not been able to know the child's talent in real. Give it a stimulation for children to do other activities or visit different places. The more diverse the activity the more likely the child is showing exciting behavior.

D. Perform an assessment of the child's exciting behavior

When you recognize the child's exciting behavior, parents can check the exciting behavior including multiple compounds. Check the list of behaviors to eight multiple intelligences.

E. Reflect on the assessment results with the child

Not only do parents, children should recognize the multiple intelligences and interests. If you have done the assessment, communicate the results of the parental assessment to the child. How to communicate it certainly according to age and communication skills of children. Tell the child's behavior on various activities and then find out the child's comments.
