CiTy PlanNing (Part-4 ConClusion)
I have already told you guys that planning a city is a vast work and I am not gonna describe all sectors of planning. Previous parts already i have discussed about main points of landscape and urban planning elaborately.. If you want to check in-case or you are interested to know... part 1...part 2.. part 3....
One of element of landscape and urban planning is using water body for beautification at the important areas of a city.A monumental identity can be create by the use of different size fountains.Right now gardens, parks, squares even in interior sector water bodies are one of the important elements. Fountain plays a significant role for the beautification of a city or defining streets node points or as a direction of streets.
Waterbodies with lights create a very recreation point for people during evening. In some cities people wait for these kinds of lighting shows during summer time or in the evening.
Last but not least use of Green Space is major part of landscape. For environment necessity of green spaces all counted beneficiary...They filtered pollutants and dust from the air and provide shades and lower temperatures in Urban areas. Green space also reduce energy comsumption by countering the warming effects of paved surfaces...if you like to know more you can check this out.. Oohh @priyanarc 😊 excuse me for letting your nice posts 😉 this post remind me to my hometown where we have a big river divided our city. Though in the old time people usually use that river as transportation route, but now.. it just a river.
I haven't read your previous posts.. but is it important to create an artificial water bodies in the city? Doesn't cost too much for maintaining it?
hello @cicisaja... thx for your feedback and pointing about one of the issues... yes maintaining water body is expensive but not too much as we expect and i have already mentioned that it's for beautification... as a citizen we always pay taxes to government so government provide maintain cost from urban planning sector fund and moreover i mention that water body use those places which are monumental or important places which has significant importance.. i hope now it's clear to you...thanks again dear... :)
