Photo the day after the accident

Hello community as well I have been showing in my post I have had the chance to travel a few days around some states of my country, but I want to tell you a story that does not have many photos, not everything is happiness unfortunately, I think sometimes we should happen things to understand and learn, and we must be more prepared and less confident, in my country, Venezuela we must take into account many things to travel or take roads at any time.

It was a Wednesday when we decided to take the road from Táchira state to Aragua state:

I think that not only in Venezuela one should be cautious when traveling on the highway, but believe me that here it should be special attention due to several things; In my country there is a fuel problem in the border states from Táchira to more or less Portuguese, so we left early from Táchira with the gas tank full with the thought of filling it again in Barinas, when we arrived in Barinas we still had a little of gasoline, and the queues to supply the fuel were quite long, so we decided to continue a little more until the Portuguese state (big mistake), in the Portuguese state there were still long queues to supply fuel, we decided to stay were approximately 2 of In the afternoon, we left the service station about 5 pm and decided to continue with our trip, considering that we were not going to arrive to Aragua that day, but we were going to make the effort to get to the state of Carabobo a little bit closer.

Imprudence

Already at 5 o'clock in the afternoon it starts to get dark in my country, the roads are full of huge holes, they do not have light and the worst thing of all is the story is the insecurity that if something happens to you on the road people can rob you, even there is a very famous story of an actress that they killed in a similar situation see news, without thinking much about all this we decided to do it, and at about 7 pm, being on the road that is supposed to be a Portuguesa-Cojedes highway, what we feared so much happened, a huge hole in the middle of the highway was the protagonist of this story .

At a certain speed you can dodge gaps so I think the best thing will always be to go at a safe speed, in this case the speed was high, I think I am telling this without realizing until now the risk and danger to which we were exposed, a rollover for example; the situation was controlled and we rode to the side of the road a few meters from the huge hole where there was a huge truck that had just fallen into the same hole, in the middle of the despair and darkness of the highway the frightened gentlemen like us they helped to change the rubber that burst, when the surprise we face in the face, it turns out that not only the front rubber had burst, but also the back, how were we going to do? because normally one only takes a spare rubber, you will say ¿call a crane ?, we were in the middle of nowhere, without a telephone signal, where no one is there to help anyone because of the continuous robberies that are in the area, the gentlemen They told us to continue like this without a rubber to see where they get help and that's how it was.

We started to roll without a rubber on the wheel, and I said it was time to get help because we could not see anything around, it was best to tie ourselves in faith and make signs to the cars that barely saw us in the darkness of the road begging someone to stop and help us, this was a very desperate moment, they all fell into a panic, because it really is a very dangerous place, the cars passed by and nobody stopped, it was a difficult situation. Besides that we were afraid that someone bad would stop wanting to take advantage of our vulnerable situation. Already very scared and thinking that hope was dying and maybe we would have to spend the night there standing and sleeping in the car with all the risk of that area, suddenly to our surprise a car passed by and far away stopped, we felt fear and relief was a mixture of sensations, the gentleman of the car is very careful, looks at us and tells us what happened to them, do not worry that I am armed (this gave me great fear, because in Venezuela to have weapon bearing is very difficult, even though the thieves have thousands), but the man looked a good person, I try to help us remove the remains of rubber from the wheel in which we were riding and he tells us, it is better than We give him on the river until San Carlos, which is the capital of Cojedes, because this area is very dangerous and it is worth more, we were 30 minutes from San Carlos, the Lord guided us and we waited for him in his car, for me it was an Angel because he says that nobody stops to help in that way . The 30 minutes became an hour and a half on a wheel because we could not go very fast.

This was a very tense situation on our trip, when we arrived in San Carlos, the man explained that there on that highway, thousands of people had been robbed, that nothing more than a week ago around 5 pm had robbed some friends of their son, they put them through the bushes because the road has enough vegetation, they undressed them, they stole everything and they almost raped the girl who was with them. Venezuela has a very strong social degradation at this moment, there is a lot of violence, insecurity and impunity. We stayed in San Carlos that night, getting a spare rubber in that place was almost impossible because the spare parts in Venezuela are scarce and when they are obtained are extremely expensive, the idea now was to get to Carabobo and get a couple of new tires that really We ate a lot of the budget of our trip, including some things that were affected by the blow, several very expensive parts, alignment, and loss of some parts of the vehicle such as the grill and bumpers, maybe for people from other countries that read this is cheap, but not in Venezuela.

It is too sad that something that should be simple, because anyone can fall into a hole in the road becomes a tragedy, and that you should also take the money you do not have to buy things like a rubber, much of the budget of our trip It was in this, the only thing I can say is that the lesson was learned. Never but never go back to travel at night in Venezuela, we must be cautious and not be so trusting, I really thank that Angel who helped us and protected us from something worse, that man for me earned the sky because really in Venezuela nobody stops to help anyone for fear of being robbed, it is a difficult situation and I think that tourism is going downhill, very unfortunate, but it is an experience, I think this taught me a lot and be more aware of our life and other people, we should not put the risk just because yes and much less risk other people, the lesson is learned and I'm really happy because I still breathe and I can tell that we saved an Angel.

Finally we arrived at our destination, and shared a couple of days, we would have liked to spend more time in the paradise we were, but in the end I think things are to make us understand others, I hope my story will serve many as advice and as Living through someone's eyes can sometimes teach us many things, thanks for reading.
