The never-ending Steem-Discord conflict...
Discord really helps in having 'group convo's' which makes for quicker exchange of thoughts. But Steem is where most of our activity should happen. The pace on Steem is slow and even if I find a conversation worth following I tend to check back only once or twice, which also means that anything valuable added to the discussion 2 days later will never be seen :-) (This actually makes me not comment on stuff sometimes, it's wasted time if you're not 'there' in the first 12 hours.)
Anyway, curious to see how your decision will reflect in your posts: more posts because it's about stuff you'd otherwise have shared in Discord? More oneliners? ;-) More invites to just 'come chat below my post'? :D
Yeah, I do love both and the community part comes easier on discord, but also I need to keep myself in check, when making a post feels like an afterthought and I no longer have any energy.
it feels weird to chat on Blockchain. partiko or other phone apps may help in that. soyrosa is right, and here communication is a bit slower, but maybe it could be done.
