RE: If you could learn to do one thing better as a writer, what would that be?
Write combat scenes. I've always been awful at them, and as a result my characters are instead skilled at talking their way out of conflict, because I have no idea how to properly write a fistfight, swordfight, or gunfight. :)
Interesting. I've not written that many of them, but not because I feel inadequate. I suppose I approach it the same way I would choreographing a fight for the stage, thinking through each action. I think the key is, to make it convincing, without going into too much detail, unless you actually know what you're talking about.
BTW, would love to have you add chapter to Harold of Apocalypse if you're interested. I'm looking for coauthors.
I can try to write up something this weekend, but can't make any promises. :)
Well, every other chapter will be open to submission, so maybe somewhere along the way you'll catch it. The more, the merrier.
