Another great contest from @daveks with support from @papa-pepper. This week theme is Reflections and it's being judged by @mweich.

Now, after this long but mandatory intro, my shots for the current contest.

All of the shots are coming from my Canon 600D. That old fellow has been a good friend for more than 5 years and it's still working nicely.

This first shot was with an 18-55mm, and I took it in the Latin Passage in Bucharest. I was quite far and I had to crop it to condense the composition to this result. It lost some of the details when I upsized the pic but even so it looks nicely printed even at 50x70cm.

Now the second shot. This one I took while on a two-hour bus ride to my parents' house. Back then I had my camera all the time and I was quite intrigued by reflections. I had a short time span when the bus was going through a forest and while I was staring at the window something clicked, and I rushed towards my camera to take this one right here. Luckily all the settings were there and I didn't miss the moment.

One of my best experience as a photographer was in Paris. Traveling really opens your eyes to the new. And since I am a sucker for architecture I had to go and have a look at the BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) designed by Dominique Perrault. One of the best choices I made when it comes to lenses and gear in general, was a refurbished 8-16 mm Sigma which I used for this picture right here. Without that lens architecture photography is not the same.
