As many of you should already know, Byteball offered an Airdrop to Steemians a few days ago. What does this mean? Well... that they are giving free GBYTE (a cryptocurrency) to any Steemian that claims them. There are different "tiers" and the higher your Steem reputation is, the more GBYTE you will get. So it goes like this:

Steem reputation above 30: you get a $10 reward
Steem reputation above 40: you get a $20 reward
Steem reputation above 50: you get a $40 reward
Steem reputation above 60: you get a $80 reward
Steem reputation above 70: you get a $160 reward

Keep in mind that when you claim your coins, you will get 50% of the GBYTE liquid (ready to use straightaway if you want) and the other 50% locked in a smart contract for one year. This means that after 1 year you will be able to access those funds. I love this part, its like a "forced hold" which makes a lot of sense to me. Because in my NOOB opinion, at the moment GBYTE is more a HOLD than it is a sell. Why? Well... if you check the chart you will see that it is trading at $130 right now, but in July 2017 and in January this year it was trading around $1000!! Sick!
