Exactly 9 years after the Bitcoin genesis block, the genesis block for Equibit has been created
On 3 January 2009, the genesis block for Bitcoin was created, which started the crypto revolution that began the disruption of many traditional industries as we know it, from financial, insurance, logistics, you name it.
9 years later, on the 9th anniversary of the Bitcoin genesis block, the Equibit project, set to disrupt the way equities are issued and managed mined their genesis block.
They will be holding a public sale very shortly and be listed on exchanges soon. They have had very little hype, but have been professionally building their products and wallet, which will be released shortly.
All I will say is look out for Equibit (EQB) in 2018!
They are currently revamping their website. Once it’s up and public sale announced, I will write a more detailed post.

The genesis block is almost always hardcoded into the software of the applications that utilize its block chain. It is a special case in that it does not reference a previous block, and for Bitcoin and almost all of its derivatives, it produces an unspendable subsidy. nice post
