Canadian Crypto

I've been involved with cryptocurrency for about three years and I would like to share my experience both buying and using the currency.

QuickBT

I've used this service many times when I first started investing in crypto. The service allows you to buy bitcoin with a debit card and a phone number. Reliable service with reasonable fees.

GPUMining

I started mining when doge coin launched, using a 270x GPU. This was around the time that bitcoin first peaked over $1000. That peak was followed by a crash and gpu mining became much less profitable and I stopped doing it until the time that Ethereum mining began. After buying and mining ETH for a few months I saw the price go from about $0.80 to about $10.00, it was at this time that I started building mining rigs. Within a year I had accumulated 12 video cards. I kept these cards until earlier this year when I sold all my 290 and 280x cards so I could buy 470 and 580 cards because they are much more energy efficient. Today I have 24 GPUs with 3 RMAs I've been putting off submitting. My total hashrate is about 600MH/s which is nearly $1500 monthly with a power bill of almost $500 monthly(including laundry, lights, etc). My current plan is to sit on what I have banked already and to use the passive mining income to pay living expenses while I finish University.

BitcoinATM

I travelled to Vancouver and was able to stop at Waves coffee shop and use the bitcoin ATM for cash withdrawl. The service worked great, the only downside is having to wait for confirmations before collecting your cash. You should plan on requesting the withdraw and then leave and return an hour or two later, you can use your receipt to check confirmations.

YesToBitcoins

I've used this site to pay for my University tuition, as well as making payments to my ridiculous hydro bill.

Bylls

Another great option to pay bills, I've used their service many times, you can even have cash deposited into your bank account or pay credit card bills. I really love this service.

CoinCards

This website lets you order gift cards, both physical and electronic. I've used this website many times, and although some of the fees seem a little high, they are fast and reliable.

Newegg

I've purchased over $10k in computer parts from newegg in the last year using bitcoin alone, unfortunately they have recently stopped accepting bitpay payments, otherwise the service was top notch.
