Late-Stage Colon Cancers Increasing Among Young Americans

Since the 1990s, the rate of colon cancer among Americans younger than 50 has more than doubled, according to the U.S. National Cancer Institute.

In the new study, researchers found that Americans in their 20s and 30s are seeing the steepest rise in distant-stage colon cancer.
