Vigorously Vegetative in 2020

Welcome to the Grow Blog

The seedlings have been growing very well since the last update. This is approximately week 6 now. I've topped the girls, in heinzesight I should have done this a bit sooner. Everything is looking very good aside from the lettuce. Our previous problem which i though would have grown out by now has only gotten worse. If you have any insight please leave a comment below.

To get 4 equal tops, remove all growth from the plant except the highest 2. Top them, making each produce 2 tops. All 4 will be identical. But you have to top 1 node after the previous top. If you wait 2 nodes, you'll end up with a 4 equal tops, but arranged in a line (like a candelabra) instead of a square.

I think the curved wavy leaves and colour issue is from overfeeding. I never get issues like that (with no fertilizer). The only time I've seen anything like it was when I applied some epsom salt (magnesium). When I don't, everything is fine. When I do, I get messed up leaves.

Thanks for the love!

Yeah I always top at the fourth node, but I always wonder to myself if I should of gone earlier. I have been thinking of doing some LST for my next round of grow. We will see.

So on to your Brazillian landrace. So funny when I was so sure what the problem was 2 weeks ago, and now we are sure it was not the light, lol. Maybe just give it pure water for the next week or two, and see how it progresses. I would totally say that one is just very sensitive to the rest. Cannabis is so interesting!
