The difference in culture is quite different to most of the U.S. over there.
When I was there decades ago (80's), it was basically a "Nobody Cares" type of situation.
Goes back to privacy - "Think About It"!

I was surprised about their privacy laws when researching this article. Great stuff (I'm not entirely sure how far they extend though)
