RLG Webinar: Intellectual Property & Cannabis

In mid-May, The Rodman Law Group held an internal webinar to address the variety of intellectual property (“IP") rights available to cannabis businesses and entrepreneurs including federal and state trademark protection, patents, and copyright.

Moderated by firm Associate Attorney Rebecca Spence, the panel was comprised of both firm partners – Attorneys David Rodman and Nadav Aschner.

Discussing the current federal trademark limitations for brands in marijuana and CBD industries, the panelists reviewed IP enforcement mechanisms, offering suggestions for favorable corporate structures and contract drafting to protect intellectual property.
