Whats With High Times??

Hey Everybody!

I recently posted a video where I ended up talking about the New Culture of Cannabis. I'd like to give you some examples of the "frustrated community" that I mentioned and give some context.

When I was a kid, the biggest bong was always the best bong. We didn't have Dabs and extracts like we do now, so it was pretty much all about smoking the fattest joint to get maximum effect. We would get super ripped and just laugh and carry on and pretty much act like idiots. It was the greatest :D But not only did we not have dabs and extracts, we didn't have facebook or twitter either!

Recently there has been this movement on Social Media to recapture the Cannabis Community from the old days of acting a fool, and bring it back to being about getting educated and informed. There is so much information on strains and increasingly elaborate technology in the growing industry that it seems childish to focus on the big bong or the fat blunt anymore. Lots of commenters are ready to jump on the uninformed and the people who are still late to the new game (and that can certainly include other commenters).

Notice the first reply. That's an example of the educated and informed pulling someone out of the old ways of thinking where everything gets you high and Pot is as bad as heroine.

This is the obnoxious type of smoking that I feel is just unnecessary these days. As I said in my last video, its easy to get high inconspicuously but its even easier to get high in public and make an ass of yourself.

Check the 3rd comment. Rough language but that's the vibe I get from the educated and informed cannabis community.

And here is some kid Dabbing a Tide Pod.......... Im just gonna leave this here and let you guys post some comments about it. Do you feel like High Times should be posting this? How does it make you feel about the Cannabis Community? If you could say one thing to this kid (assuming he's not braindead), what would it be??
