Floating cars

Here's a picture of my car project...
After it was moved to it's current 'parking' spot, covered with the old car cover, mid car port construction...

When I knew for sure that I would need some protection from the elements if I truly did not want to use every excuse not to work on this project, then I'd have to do the best I could to keep it safe.
That meant a $200 carport from Harbor Freight. Luckily my mom was in town and she held the ladder for me when I needed to hover over the car to get those top poles together.
It was quite an experience and one that showed me just how well my mom and I get along.
It's many years later...many hurricanes and nor'easters later...and it's still standing by some sort of magic, I presume.
