Audi S6 B5

Hello!

i am thinking to get an audi S6 B5 (1998-2001)
for many years in front.

so.. is the 2.4 V6 motor good choise to make
and upgrede it to gas?
or should i take some other engine?

I am looking for engine tough as weare 1.9 disel motors.

i heard that 2.4 petrol engins have problem with oill ?
Is it true and is that terible or just like any other odl cars?
