Because of it's small engine, the car uses artificial audio to create the sound of the engine inside the cabin. With a mediocre amount of horse power, and costing well over 100k, the value proposition of the i8 is hard to sell.

Within just a few years, the i8 has depreciated by over 50% and the prices continue to slide.

Even a garish looking gold wrap is not going to impress anybody who knows a little thing or two about cars!
