Hello, my readers and everyone interested in Cardano and blockchain governance.

Voting Power: ₳ 766 293

Good news that I have some new delegators, and now my stake is 766K+ and that's good! Who knows if my diaries helped this? I don't know.

Today I'm voting of 3 governance decisions.

1 . Cardano Defi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1

Voted Abstain.

Reasoning: I don't think that's good decision to allocate such amount of ADA for DeFi. I think the market and people should decide whether to provide liquidity or not. On the other hand - if the community thinks this might be benefitial for the Cardano ecosystem - what can I do? It's not the worst imaginable spending of ADA - that's why I choose to "Abstain" now rather than vote No.

2 . Cardano x Draper Dragon: Orion Fund

Voted No.

Reasoning: 50Millon ADA is a huge amount. To be honest, at this point I don't see a reason to create new fund while we have Catalyst, community-driven fund, which proved its effectiveness and definitely has big community participation.

3 . Approve Cardano Foundation as New Managing Entity of Project Catalyst

Voted Yes.

Reasoning: I'm not a fan of Cardano Foundation. I had problems dealing with them in the past. I prefer that Catalyst would be community-driven, but as it seems now IOG won't continue to supervise Catalyst and there is no easy and fast way for the community to take over the management over Catalyst. Maybe we, DReps can do it? I think this will be good.

But now proposal says that "CF and IOG strongly believe that approving the change in managing entity for Project Catalyst from IOG to CF is the most responsible path forward to resolve legacy funding obligations and protect the Cardano Treasury"

Moreover "if the CF does not assume this role in time, the continuation of Project Catalyst is uncertain at this time." That's why I decided to support and vote Yes. I hope I will have time to do calls/interviews for my podcast and speak more about the future of Catalyst. But as now is time to vote - so my vote is Yes.
