RE: An introduction to my car history. BMW aged 15
What a history!! You are so passionate about BMW's! Since I've moved to Switzerland I can't even look at them as they are everywhere. Same in Germany :) But I understand that if you don't live here then it's very special as you don't get to see them that much :)
It looks like you went up and down all the time with the cars but you kept going. I also like that you did so much work on them yourself. That was good about the old cars. Nowadays, you have to go to the service for every single small issue..
Thank you for sharing! It was fun to read :)
Hello)) Thank you for your kind comment. I know what you mean, about not being able to look at them because they are everywhere. When I lived in the Uk, you most saw the older cars cruising about, and when I saw a new 7 series (7 years ago) it caught my mind. Now I live in Moscow I mostly see new BMWs and when I see the older cars, I had in England, I get excited about them. Even Rolls Royces are normal here.
I’ve always preferred fixing my cars, if I could do the job, but as you said newer cars are getting a lot more complex with their coding etc.
I really like switzerland. I stayed at the kempinski in St moritz. They had many cool cars park out the front there :)
Thank you once again :)
I've been to Moscow some years ago and I was surprised to see all those new cars. There were of course many old cars too but I didn't expect to see so much luxury on roads. How come that you moved from the UK to Moscow? It's quite an unusual move I would say (it could be just my perception) :)
I think that every Kempinski has many cool cars parked there :) I've been wanting to go to St. Moritz for ages but it's quite far away from where we live, so we need to plan to spend there a couple of days. I hope that finally this winter we will manage..
I wish you a lovely day!
Hey, when did you go to Moscow? I have been here for over 6 years now. My wife is Russian, and I really like Moscow, basically. :D I do miss certain things, about England, like my family and friends, but also the car industry is much simpler to understand compared to Russia.
I really hope you go to St Moritz this year. It is perfect!
Have a great day too :D
