Great post (as always)... beautiful car with this design, the most desirable car ever built in Japan. And the price is still affordable compared to others supercars (sold for $US 511,000 last year through RM Sotheby's).

The 2000GT is indeed very pretty, even when compared to the European cars from the era. It's unfortunate that the 2000GT didn't sell very well, but it still cemented quite the legacy. The value is comparatively "cheap ", but I heard its moving rapidly into 7 figures soon.
