The 944 model was manufactured from 1982 to 1991, with a new release of 944 Turbo in 1985.

Powered by 2.5L turbocharged four cylinder 100% Porsche engine for 220 HP. What is interesting is that this engine is the half of V8 from 928.

There were only 162452 units produced over a period of 9 years.

The mentioned model of Porsche 944 Turbo from 1988 was sold on the auction for 33.000 USD.
